LOCUM EDUCATOR
JOIN THE FUTURE EDUCATION CENTRE TEAM
Future Education Centre is seeking a passionate, organised, and engaging Locum Grade 8 Educator to join our team for Term 4. This is a fixed-term contract running from the 5th October 2026 until the 11th December 2026.
Our learners are taught through our innovative online curriculum, supported by in-person facilitation and individual learner guidance. We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence and creating a positive learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate daily Grade 8 lessons using Future Education Centre's online curriculum.

Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans in advance.

Complete daily lesson plans and record them in the Teacher Binder.

Guide learners through online learning activities while providing academic support and encouragement.

Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.

Create an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environment.

Communicate professionally with management regarding learner progress and classroom matters.

Uphold the values and standards of Future Education Centre.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Relevant teaching qualification (or currently completing one).

Experience teaching Grade 8 learners is advantageous.

Strong organisational and planning skills.

Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.

Confident using technology and online learning platforms.

Reliable, proactive, and passionate about learner success.
